The charge brought against Armenian Davit Sanasaryan is fully substantiated by testimonies of and confrontations, the Chief of Armenia’s National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan told reporters on Friday at a briefing.
Vanetsyan called on all to wait for a while at the same time asking to make sure vowing to not violate Sanasaryan’s a presumption of guilt.
“When the case will be sent to the court all of you and the public in general will have the opportunity to get familiarized with the proofs that were obtained in the course of preliminary investigation. All will have the chance to assess the veracity of those proofs,” Vanetsyan added.
To remind, Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) brought corruption charges against Sanasaryan on Thursday as part of the criminal case launched on February 25, involving two senior officers of the Oversight Service suspected in misconduct.
The NSS said they colluded with a company sponsored by them in order to ensure its victory in a state procurement of equipment for three medical facilities.
