    Tel Aviv to host second semi-final of Eurovision 2019 tonight

    The second semi-final of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Tel Aviv, Israel, on Thursday, May 16, with 18 countries set to take to the stage, Eurovision TV reports.

    Armenia’s Srbuk will open the show tonight, followed by contestants from Ireland, Moldova, Switzerland, Latvia, Romania, Denmark, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Malta, Lithuania, Russia, Albania, Norway, the Netherlands, North Macedonia and Azerbaijan.

    10 countries with the highest points will qualify for the grand final scheduled for Sunday, 18 May, joining the 10 countries qualified in the first semi-final – Australia, Iceland, Greece, Belarus, Serbia, Cyprus, Estonia, Czech Republic, San Marino and Slovenia – and the 6 pre-qualified finalists.

    Srbuk will perform “Walking Out”, a song composed by Lost Capital and tokionine, with the lyrics penned by Garik Papoyan, who also wrote Aram MP3’s “Not Alone” for Eurovision 2014.
